Children at St. Andrew's

At St. Andrew's we welcome children of all ages. There is an area at the back of the church with quiet toys, books and drawing materials, where parents and young children can be together during services. We do understand that they might be restless and sometimes make a noise!

Some of the children with Revd. Tim at the      Good Friday Children's Service

takes place at 10.30 a.m. on the first Sunday of each month except during August. Families with children of all ages are very welcome. The service lasts for about 40 minutes and has simple prayers, a short talk and songs, many of which the children will have learnt at school. It usually finishes with an opportunity for the children to play one of our collection of musical instruments and march around the church while they play and sing. The smaller children can be accompanied by a parent if needs be. It is great fun and all enjoy it very much.
