"A New Way of

    Being Church"

We are pleased to announce that

the church doors are now open for

public worship at 9am on Sunday mornings.

The ZOOM Service from the Vicarage continues at 10.30am, and the church should be open for private ‘socially distanced’ prayer, at the following times:

Tuesday-Friday, from 10am – 4pm.

Apologies if this has not been possible.

Alternatively, there is a free national church Daily Hope phone line

aimed particularly at the over 75’s who do not have access to the internet.

The line is available 24 hours a day on

0800 804 8044.

The Archbishops and Bishops of the Church of England have urged everyone to follow the instructions given by the Prime Minister, but they called on the Church to “continue to pray, to love, to care for the vulnerable”. We will keep you informed of any further developments, but please check the websites for the Church of England, The Diocese of St. Albans, and Public Health England for the latest information regarding the current situation:

The Collect for Trinity 17

Almighty God,

you have made us for yourself,

and our hearts are restless till they find their rest in you:

pour your love into our hearts and draw us to yourself,

and so bring us at last to your heavenly city

where we shall see you face to face;

through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,

who is alive and reigns with you,

in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and for ever.
